THE ESSENTIAL, SIMPLE fundamentals of rock music are what Sydney-based quartet NIXIN are all about. About vocal melodies that are easier to catch onto than a common cold, and a hard, solid energy that you wouldn’t know whether to dance or head-bang to.
Having shared the stage as supports with The Angels, The Screaming Jets, Jimmy Barnes, Angelas Dish and The Radiators, and doing regional shows with Taxiride, Kid Courageous and Town Hall Steps respectively, through The Harbour Agency, the boys from NIXIN are dead serious with a take-no-prisoners attitude.
Having just released their brand new EP, entitled ‘HIGHWAY’, this unyielding group of 20-year-olds are yearning for 2008 to be a massive year. Spending every moment either tearing up the stage or writing and recording, NIXIN are continuously taking their craft to new levels.
